• Job Creation: The animation industry offers employment opportunities for animators, storyboard artists, riggers, and other creative professionals. A growing sector translates to more jobs and a stronger job market.
• Freelancing Opportunities: The animation industry allows for freelance work alongside full-time positions. This flexibility can benefit individuals seeking additional income or those facing geographical limitations.=
• Global Demand: The animation industry is experiencing a global boom, fueled by the rise of streaming services, gaming, and the increasing demand for visual content especially for use on social media. This international reach opens doors for animators to work on projects globally, where they can earn a fair rate for their services.

SDG 4: Quality Education

YAPPI provides high-quality animation education, equipping students with in-demand skills for creative careers.  Our free animation courses eliminate financial barriers, making animation education more attainable for everyone.

SDG 5: Gender Equality

The animation industry has traditionally been male-dominated. YAPPI actively promotes gender equality by encouraging women to pursue careers and job opportunities available in animation.   Our overarching goal is to ensure that out of the 60,000 people target, at least 70% of them are female. We believe in fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

YAPPI graduates are equipped with the skills needed to secure rewarding jobs in the thriving animation industry in different career sectors and in different industry uses. Our focus on practical training ensures students are prepared to hit the ground running and contribute to the creative economy.

By providing accessible education, YAPPI empowers individuals from all backgrounds to pursue careers in animation.  This helps bridge the digital divide and creates opportunities for those who might otherwise face obstacles to entering the creative workforce.
